Double the Fun with a Double-ended Dildo

Having a lover curious about new ways of having sex than just the conventional sex is a lot of fun. We feel young again; you know when you want to explore, experiment and share with each other.  I want to try different things, use new things. I want to do some sex acts that I haven’t been able to do before and now I have my chance.

With my recent strap-on harness purchase he suggested trying a toy that we could both be penetrated at the same time. He asked me why I didn’t buy a harness with the two dildos so we both could have fun. I could get penetrated while I’m pegging him. I replied that I never gave it much thought. I looked into buying double dildos. Oh my gosh. I didn’t know there are, so many varies of double-ended dildos.

There are “U-shaped” dildos made of a soft jelly and are very bendable to accommodate insertion in to both the vagina & anus simultaneously. Great for female solo play. There are double-ended dildos, which are long with two penis heads at each end and come in a variety of sizes, width & length. Some double-ended dildos are ribbed, wavy, have lifelike veins, some are curved to hit the G-spot and the other end is designed to hit the P-spot (prostrate). The glass double-ended dildos sometimes have “pleasure bumps” on the shaft or have a bulbous texture all designed to give extra stimulation. All of these dildos are made from various material such as silicone, glass, jelly, PVC, TPR and stain steel.

There are the strapless (no harness) strap-on double-ended dildos. They have a longer shaft on one end and a shorter sometimes bulbous head on the other end. Some of these strapless dildos have a bullet to use for vibration and other don’t. After using a standard strap-on dildo with my lover, I noticed the next day I used muscles I forgot I had. Four days later and I’m still sore when I walk. I know now that even having the tightest kegel muscles might not prevent these types of dildos from sliding out. When my lover tightened his anus, it caused me to pull forward & to feel as if the dildo had slipped out. I could only imagine trying to fight with a strapless dildo. I’m sure it would lead to frustration to both of us.

If I decide on buying a double-ended dildo, I think I would try the double strap-on dildos. It comes with a harness and has a dong for me and a dong for him. I think the harness would add more security than the strapless dildos. I have noticed that there are not too many variations of this style of double dildo harness. I will continue to shop until I find what I want or maybe I try one of the standard ones. I have plenty of time to shop around and research on a product. I suggest always doing your homework on any product you are unsure about buying.

There are lots of possibilities with double-ended dildos. You can use them vagina to vagina, anus to anus, vagina to anus and vagina & anus for solo play. There are several different styles to choose from depending on how you want to play and use them.

A few things to remember

  • Always clean any sex toys before & after you use them according to the directions.
  • If you are not familiar about the proper way to store your DED (double-ended dildo), research the material the toy is made with. Certain material can not be stored together and will cause damage to your dildo. Even applying a condom over your DED can damage the material of your DED.
  • If you’re buying this for you & your partner to enjoy, remember to discuss it when your partner. Don’t just pull it out of your toy box expecting to use it with your partner if they’re not accustom to using sex toys with you.
  • Have lube and a towel nearby.
  • When you plan on using a DED or even a strap-on dildo with a harness for the first time; get a good night sleep, be in an open frame of mind. Try different positions to find the best for the both of you and work out those kegel muscles.

Lastly, have a sense of humor, because using a strap-on or a double-ended dildo with your lover there will be those moments of awkwardness and you have to be able to laugh at those moments.
